Need a search term

MSTS calls this a "people holder" what it is, is a small platform used on bridges for workmen to stand on so they're out of the way if a train comes along. Subways have little cubbyholes called "escapes", bridges have these things, but what are they called? Searching in content mangler for keywords like "platform" or "escape" doesn't turn anything up. I'm sure somebody must have made one for these for Trainz, but how do I find it?

I think Maddy 25 made some for her bridges.Try going by her name. May have to tick down to TRS2004 to find them

Dave.......

Sparkling Sparky to the rescue again!

Thanks Dave;

Plate Girder Bridge Platform,<kuid2:124017:30014:1>

Actually built into TS2010, track object rather than scenery so it can be snapped right onto the bridge. :D This one don't have any railings, but gandy dancers are expendable. :hehe:

It's not a "search term" (it's the only hit I get with Safety Bracket), but jerker's VR Timber Trestle Bridge Kit Safety Bracket,<kuid2:75943:9:1> might be what you're looking for.

Edit: I gotta learn to type with more than one finger! Glad you found what you needed.

In some UK tunnels (Catesby comes to mind), some refuges were enlarged to provide a rest area/meal cabin for PW staff. Must have been fun eating your sandwiches with 70 MPH expresses pounding through, filling everything with smoke and soot!

I was a child of the psychedelic psykties, by 1969 I had no brain cells left. :hehe: Anyway "refuge" turns up only one asset;

No Refuges Sign,<kuid:60850:23103>

UK 'No Refuges' Sign, to be placed on structures close to the line that are long enough to be required to have refuges, yet have none.

I did look at the Trestle Bridge Kit Safety Bracket, but for some reason it lists all the parts of the kit as dependencies, the color is all wrong, and it has a restrictive EULA so I wouldn't be able to fix and reskin. Maddy's works okay and grants permission for freeware mods. Color is perfect, but what I need it for I gotta clone and raise it up 0.6 meters, fortunately she's my kinda gal and granted automatic permission in the EULA. :cool:

Gee, there's a lot of the 60's I don't remember, either. But I can't remember why not.:p

Anyway, Jim, I just reminded you of the name of the damn thing. I didn't actually say there are any hits on the DLS.
