In the USA, they have National Train Day scheduled for May 11. In the May 9 newsletter, it talks about March 11. Does Australia celebrate this two months earlier?
I noticed that too. I'm assuming it is just a typo.
To my knowledge, there is no "National Train Day" here in Australia.
In fact, considering how far behind the '8 ball' we are in railway technology, a Train Day should be a Train Shame Day.
(We consider a train that can do 160kph as a HST. Even then, line condition often keeps them down to 100kph).
