National Electric Grid ?

Hi all, I think that the software is awesome, I wouldn't have clue on how to do it I am having so-o-o much fun.

My question is how do I find the huge pylons that start at the power stn and carry large wires to the various industries, I cannot find them, maybe, of course, that I do not know the name the system is using, in Canada I am not sure what they call them either. Electric grid? Power pylons large?.

I would appreciate if someone could pass me the info.

Thanks.

I tried those kuids numbers in the download station and in general search and got no items to display.
Maybe I was doing it wrong/differently.

Peter.

Hi Peter,

Have a look at this page/site, it will help you get started. I know there is more content to do with Power Lines, when I can I will update this with some Kuid Numbers for you.

Maybe a search on the DLS using "Power" will also help you find some more items.

Make sure you have all the search options checked before hitting the search button. All that I listed are from the Download Station.

Peter,

I am not sure which version of Trainz you have, but also try in Surveyor by putting in the word "Power" in your scenery panel for both static and spline content.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the links.:D I was going nutz trying to find them.

The powerlines...

Are awesome. It is hard for me to assemble the line splines but otherwise this is the ultimate powerline pack for trainz if you are a transmission pylon lover. Also in the pack Check out those gigantic 1150 KV & the 1500 KV towers, they look very huge and strange (the 1500 KV one).

Thank you Folks, I found the power towers and the power wires, they are great software and I found them on the spline in Objects with a lot of stuff I thought was loaded and couldn't find them.

One more question is there a tutorial on placement of signals for the best effect, I am not a railroad man, I was into flight simulators so I haven't a clue except that they say place them for the safety of the trains, and why are they all red when there is nothing ahead for many sections?

Peter.

I see Wedge_Antillies has posted hundred of similar sized Kuid again

Well I found out the person...
Wedge_Antillies
If somebody know the link to his site, please post.

I see Wedge_Antillies as uploaded a few hundred similar sized kuids all without photos again on the 5/12/14, maybe doing him a mis-service, but a little dubious too download, as all the appearance of some kind of cyber attack. Why no idea.

They're okay, I checked myself. They're nothing more than tiny little insulators and wire joiners for the Russian catenary system. Good luck to anyone who assembles these together! :)
