My vote: the UP Big Boy


PS - honorable mention goes to the GP 7/9 with high nose: I've heard that some American
roads were even embarrassed that the public should see them back in the 1940s/1950s but
they were proud to show their streamlined carbody GM/EMD units for passenger service.
