name of asset in surveyor

Hi,,,,,,,,,I am using trz2006 and would like to put all my favourite assets on a blank map
so that I can print them out. What I would like is something that puts the name by the asset
so that I know what to look for please.

Thanks for the reply,,,,your suggestion looks like the only way to do it, but it will take me some time.
Thanks again

You can (one by one) rename your favorite config file(s) username line with a prefix, ie: Waschenlauge, becomes F Waschenlauge

I renamed all of RGCX 1000+ railcars with the prefix RGCX , ie: 40Ft ATSF becomes RGCX 40Ft ATSF, and they are all grouped together.

Or you can add the line -showkuids in Trainzoptions file.

Or you can click on the asset with the " ? " button, and it will bring up the name.

Or you can put them all of your favorite assets on a blank set of baseboard(s) and merge that master baseboard on the edge of all your routes.

Or you can IPortal any special train/loco consist from your blank baseboard, to have it emerge on your other routes, using an IPortal.

Thanks cascaderairoad,,I did put showkuids in the trainsoptions file but it does not seem to do anything.
I like the sound of the iportal but I have never done that yet, so I will look up to see how its done and give it a try with a bit of luck.
Thanks very much.

You need the minus sign in front of showkuids in the trainzoptions file, ie: -showkuids

And when you click on the asset or " ? " button, the kuid # shows in surveyor
