UPDATE:

There are a few new routes I have in mind for Trainz that'd I'd love to see as defaults.
  1. I would love to see Donner Pass in the heyday of steam on the Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
  2. I'd love to see the Pere Marquette system in Trainz as it was around the time the Chesapeake and Ohio took over.
  3. I'd love to see the Pennsylvania Railroad's Sandusky District in the steam to diesel transition.
  4. Finally, I'd like to see the Pennsylvania Railroad Eastern Region in Trainz in the heyday of steam and electric.

UP to Yuma

I would like to see the UP line that runs through Yuma and then Phoenix then on its way to Elpaso throught Tucson this is all in Arizona

Since this is an excuse to be 'greedy', here's my list:

* Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee Railroad (abandoned 1962)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_North_Shore_and_Milwaukee_Railroad
* Chicago Aurora & Elgin Railroad (abandoned 1957)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Aurora_and_Elgin_Railroad
* Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad (still running)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Shore_Line_(NICTD)

Since the first two lines entered Chicago over the elevated system (Chicago Transit Authority), Klinger's work, backdated to the respective time of abandonment would take care of the Chicago end of the CNS&M. Conversely somebody would have to replicate all of the Garfield Park Branch of the Metropolitan Elevated and the Wells Street Terminal as that has all been replaced by the West end of the Blue Line.

The third line, which is still running enters Chicago on what is now Metra Electric District. For extra points, street running in East Chicago can replace the current route alongside the Indiana Toll Road. Also, street running to downtown South Bend can replace the current route to the airport. Note that part of the attraction of the street running in East Chicago is the thrill of taking a 'Little Joe' (800 class) down the street with up to 79 cars and even a caboose, stopping at many of the traffic lights along the way!

Since I am being greedy, Ill add three more to my wish list:

* Cincinnati & Lake Erie Railroad (1930-1939)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincinnati_and_Lake_Erie_Railroad

This line ran interurban trolley cars from Toledo to the outskirts of Cincinnati & also branch to Columbus.

* Indiana Railroad (the electric interurban 1930-1941)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_Railroad

This line ran cars very similar to the C&LE close to statewide in scope of operations!

* Lehigh Valley Transit - particularly the Liberty Bell Limited route between Allentown and 69th Street in Philadelphia. (Abandoned 1951)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lehigh_Valley_Transit_Company
This line used some of the cars from the abandoned C&LE plus one car from the abandoned IR.

* Illinois Terminal Railroad (electric passenger service abandoned in 1955 & 1956 - diesel freight service 1956-1986)
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illinois_Terminal_Railroad

Until 1953-1956, this was a 400 mile trolley line featuring one, two or three trolley car passenger trains several times a day, plus standard freight trains pulled by electric locomotives on lightly built lines that would be rather scary by steam railroad standards!

This is more of a question than a request, but does anybody know if there are any Lehigh Valley or New Jersey Central routes out there?

I would like to see:

Docklands Light Railway (although it doesn't have a driver! DOH!)
Trans-Pennine Railway
Gatwick Express: Gatwick to London Victoria
Eurostar London to Paris

Any of these on already?

BNSF, Cascade Range, Wa.

I would be interested in your route when you get it done. I would be interested in BNSF from maybe Spokane to maybe Havre, Mt. and Milw. from Spokane to Avery, Drexel to maybe Deerlodge, Mt. Also up the St. Maries, Id. branch to Bovill, Id. where I was raised. I was in Libby for 26 years. I know that this a LOT of miles and I don't expect it for free.

George, Missoula, MT.

The line that runs through San Antonio to Corpus Christi, TX. Running thorugh Alice, George West, Three Rivers Ect.
Side note, George West is my home town.

NJT Boonton Line (Before Montclair Connection)
NJDOT Montclair Branch (Montclair Terminal instead of Bay Street)
FYI I am making the Montclair Boonton for trainz, it isn't much now;) .

Here are some routes I would like to see in the future editions of Trainz...:)

A French TGV route - Paris to Bordeaux
A Japenese Bullet Train route - Tokyo to Shin-Osaka
A German I.C.E route - Zurich to Berlin
A English route - FGW - London Paddington to Didcot
A USA High Speed Route - Miami to Orlando - (the new high speed rail line)

Being high speed rail routes, not much detail has to be added in the route, as you will be racing along the track, too fast to see much detail, thus maybe giving better frame rates.

I would like see anything in london, particularly the eastern main line going through essex.

And keep in mind that we have the worst train service in britain, just sayin'.

My Routes I want

Ok... CSX Rochester Ny to Syacuse, Grafton Yard WV, (oh wait i am makeing it :hehe: not much though, trainz crashed and i lost some.) N&W Roanoke to Bluefeild.

to georgeshattuck re BNSF in Cascades

Bad news: the route I am working on is based in the northwest USA but is not a prototype.

PS: I lived for many years in Moscow, ID and recall the railway running east to Troy. I am not certain if that rail line went on to Deary, Bovill, and Elk River. It was defunct when I lived in Moscow and now parts of it are a bike trail. I also remember the rail line from Potlatch to Deary which I believe continued on to Bovill and Elk River. Between Potlatch and Deary, the stations/tiny villages were named after universities (Princeton, Harvard, Vassar)

Good news: There is a terrain only map (route) by smooz called "The Funnel" on the DLS which covers Spokane to Sandpoint. I have not looked at it but you might want to check it out.
