The strange thing is that DLC is already free shipping - since if only comes in digital form.
We've just had a fairly lengthy sale in June - so perhaps your news was related to that sale?

Trainz Driver 2016 was released earlier this year. Since you own TANE you have everything that is in the "Driver" version.

I'd say it's for those who only want to drive trains rather than building routes (like the mobile versions of Trainz Driver that N3V do).
