Mystified

I've been seeing names like TANE, TransDEm, etc throughout the forums. Are these addon programs that I should install? I can't even google TANE and get an answer that relates to Trainz.

I would like to suggest a sticky thread somewhere to list Trainz addons and other useful software relating to trainz for beginners reference.

T:ANE is the upcoming version of Trainz. Look in the Trainz: A New Era + Kickstarter forum for more details about that.

As for other tools, these usually have threads within the forum explaining what they are. If there are any specific tools you are unsure of, you are welcome to ask.

I can"t shake the feeling that I'm missing out on a lot of good stuff that I'm seeing bandied about in the forum. Guess I should expect it though. When I first started out with MS Flight sim it was a bit overwhelming too.
