Where has this appeared from, Was not there yesterday however turned up on resumption of session.
There are questions that are not answered in the screenshot.
It is part of the route or the session? Or in a resumed saved game? And which Trainz version TRS19 or 22?
If it is TRS22 then you can use the UDS to switch from Driver to Surveyor.
Can you then select it in Surveyor - is it a track spline or a scenery spline? More importantly, can you delete it?

It appeared in a session
A resumed session TRS22 without the new surveyor
Never used UDS, what is it?
After closing session then restarting session it did not appear again.
Had a look in wireframe for route and session, no sign of it.
It will remain one of those mysteries one associates with Trainz.

I've seen those rails go off into space occasionally when placing procedural track which go away when the track is adjusted. Seeing that in a saved session is weird. My thought is this is one of those odd glitches that'll never be explained. I recommend reporting that to N3V, but unless you can reproduce the error again, it'll be extremely difficult for the developers to be able to catch it and fix it as well.
This goes along with the smokenados we used to get in T:ANE or those occasionally floating trees and other anomalies.
