this is not about routes but content created on the dls recently and/or over the years that caught my attention.

AJS - for his fantastic stations,
Angelah - for her superb buildings and routes,
Colin Holt - for his wonderful UK content,
Eldavo - for his great payware shunters, and his other creations on his UK website Eldavo's Railway Emporium,
John Whelan - for his old style UK box wagons of the 50's and 60's,
Meyshollop - for his work on the Royal Mail wagon along with many other stuff,
Mike10 - for his outstanding UK content and the help with Trainz Classics UK,
Nexusdj - for his amazing reskins, just wish he could release all of them,
Peterdhicks - for his G.N.E.R consist and his various Class 222's,
Rumour3 - for his amazing track and the Class 66's,
tmz06003 - for his UK content, including the Class 37's,
Tom Young - for his very helpful LTSV Trainz website and his superb UK creations,
Vern - for his amazing Glasgow to Falkirk route,
Zec Murphy - for his amazing Australian content that also looks great with UK content,

In fact, there are far too many to mention, I believe everyone who has created for trainz is my hall of fame, the only thing is, the list would go on forever, and I will not live long enough to mention everyone.

Kemplen i use atr this moment only his Brute scenery series, very nice detailed!!!
Lielestobrat I not used yet so cannot speak for him in my list.

Ed let me get this of my chest as trainz friends

You guys out there have some short fuses and or to dark sunglasses to see the bright site of someone's post.

If you not know me by now you will never.

If there is something in closed thread that could be slippery why jump with both feet in the pie and not think before you do and suggest the moderator to keep his gun in the holster and allow the change the header of before mentioned thread and no lightning strikes.

See Ed my intention was like my list to share with people out there those i use over the years and ongoing and also the joke side was to those "budheads" or what you would call them out there many times stampede in someones thread like the screenshot contest with certain rules like steam for the week and still continue to post diesel or whatever.

I think that is rude and unmannered so the hall of xhame (censored) would be the place to virtually ban them for one week as kind of less stress put them in the corner.

But ok things on the forum happen for a reason and many times get caught in a stampede or shot by a moderator so be it.

It is not about right or wrong but finding ways to solve things for all parties involved and not like what happened today, I NOT deserve that.

OK keep up the other work you are good at and check that in night mode the distance of surfaces is sufficient to avoid flickering.

Today I notice hefty flickering on the Starbucks sign and building...

Well the purpose is to show your list of favorites most used over the years in your route(s).
And yes they are more than valid :hehe: just my list shows the most used in my routes the last 7 years.

Interesting to see what most used by whom.

I don't have short fuse. I did not report your thread, I don't know why it was closed. All I did was give you my opinion. This thread is fine, because you are not singling out anyone as deserving shame. Auran never lets a thread like that go on, no matter what the intentions are or how amusing it may be. I've no issue with you Roy, so please don't jump to conclusions.

And BTW; RRSignal released the Starbucks with nightmode, not I. If there is a flickering problem with my nightmode content, I apologize, but I cannot fix it. I do not work in Gmax or Blender, I do not alter meshes or models, only the textures. If you discover a problem with my nightmode reskins, then I suggest you speak to Dave, as I have been using his models.

Now, carry on with your route; it's looking great. I shall carry on with my reskins, and we shall put any unpleasantness behind us.;)
 
hi all

one person who is not on anyone`s list and in my opinion should be is domsarto his creations were great for uk and irish route builders and its sad that he no longer uploads to the dls. just my ten pence worth.

Yes Bob but my route is US/Canadian and UK not fit

that is why he is not on my favorites list which not mean he is not good he sure he is but my favorites refer to my routes over the years.
Good you mention him as he has a lot of very nice european/UK type of neat shops and homes

Thank you for starting this thread, Because when and if I start creating a route for trainz. I can go back to this thread and do searches for these names and see what kind of stuff that I could use for the route.

@Paulzmay: it is also meant that anyone who creates routes put his favorites in here and or add to my list if most are already covered.

Starbucks I closed the lights as I personally never drink starbucks' to much water and money for what you americans call a coffee.:p
Black Canyon is much closer to real coffee what I am used to:hehe:

Glad to hear we are on level ground once more. I've never heard of Black Canyon Coffee, but that doesn't mean Google hasn't...;)

Is close to what we buy just over the border in Laos from the mountains Dao coffee which we brew ourselves as the best coffee in the world and on this I am an expert trust me.
On top the coffee we buy sells (to us) for 350 bath or 11 usd for 1/2 kg or 500 gram which was 1 year ago 150 bath but the Europeans discovered them too and now they doubled the price so be it the quality and taste is worth the 1 hour drive to the Mekong river from our home here in the Phu Pan mountains.

There are probably so many that will go unmentioned, but the ones that stay in my mind, along with those alreadly posted here are:


Boat for his amazing little controller creations that make roads and crossing work so well.


Paulzmay for his great tram routes and parts. :)


RailCentre (if wasn't mentioned before, and if he was and I missed his name, well here he is again) for his great little buildings that match well with Angelah's buildings too.

JCayena for his really wonderful brick buildings that look really detailed, but load up quickly in driver. :)


DSarto (Dom Sarto) for his great little houses and stores

And... We'll think of others as we go on. :)

Great thread Roy! :) There are some legendary/well-known names on this list that I have content from and have heard of as well. Thanks to all of them for their efforts in creating great custom content that the community enjoys! :D

This exactly the purpose of my thread good you name them and for what kind of detail.
This for sure will encourage newcomers and old farts like us to have a fall back to crucial names if looking for some first class objects etc.

Again my Hall of Xhame in the former closed thread with the same purpose was really meant funny and for those who try to cause havoc somewhere to put them in the corner like little boys :hehe::p

My list is not limited too and I have more than that and some very good one's just not fit my purpose for region and time.
