Very impressive work! Would you mind sharing a few comments on the workflow you're using to make your DEM and template map. It has a very clean and uncluttered look that I like. Thanks and keep posting the updates on your work. Great stuff.

Hi all, did more work on the map,and here's what I've got done. I wanted to see what some water would look like arond the dam, and also
if there was a way to have water running in the fish ladders. I also had to do some rework on the center fish ladder, it was to low. So here

Hi fecrails, the DEM is from fishlipsatwork. As for the workflow thing, I did alot of research on the history of the area, and another thing that helps is to take alot pics of diffrent items. Not to mention, its only 35 min from my home.

Hi all, I had to take a little trip and go help a good friend of mine. I'm now back home with my big nose in front of my screen once again. I'll be uploading some more screenies sometime Friday to what has been done. -Robert-

Hi all, sorry for the delay in updating of my thread, but I had to get some projects done around the home that needed fixed.
The last 3 days I spent working on the map and came up with this idea to have truck traffic that you can drive on Hwy 28 to haul apples from CRO Orchards to Wenatchee, to ship by rail. So I'v been doing alot of reskinning to get the feel of the area I am in. Sence it is 12:45 AM here now, I'll be posting some more screenies after I get so rest. It's been a very long day, so hang in there, I'll post the screenies when I get up. Later..... -Robert-

This substation is about 80% complete.(This is more work than building the Dam!) If you think this is a big substation, wait 'till I start on the one that powers Alcoa! This one is just a pup. More later.... -Robert-

Hey, may I ask what powerlines you are usin? As there are some very similar to those on stampede pass. I also like what you are doing with those builtin track peices to make a perfect corner in the track it seems like a great idea.

Hi Montanawestern, the major part of the power line assets are from Wedge Antillies (kuid:413547), and also from Tume (kuid:82412), plus whatever looks
right to me at the time when I need powerlines.
As for using fixed track for templates, it works pretty good. I also use the JK turnouts for track templates, it sure makes the track work look nice-n-neat.
