My Firefox showing the forum at lower resolution

Hello,

Just this afternoon (Saturday) my Firefox is showing the Trainz forums similar to a lower resolution. In other words, it looks like 800x600, and the button choices are wrapping around on the screen.

All other websites are looking right, and the Firefox user interface is totally right.

It is not doing this on the Forum while using my Opera browser. Is anyone else seeing this?

Try clearing you cache and trying again.

I cleared my cache (just for today) and shut Firefox down and restarted. The problem remains. I also have tried my Seamonkey browser and it loads correctly there.

I'm not sure how to completely clear the cache, is it the "Everything" choice? Does that ruin encrypted sites where I have to sign in? (I did not delete all cookies).

Very strange. I have been popping in and out of the forum from searches on Google trying to find some information about Gmax. Sometimes I got old pure text posts from the forum. Sometimes I read pages where I wasn't "signed in".

You could have zoomed the forum pages. Try pressing Ctrl+0 (number zero) to unzoom. Firefox remembers the zoom status of websites.

p-dehnert, I think you are right. I think I must have zoomed it in somehow. Ctrl+0 set it right.

I did not know that Firefox remembered zoomed sites individually, and also through restarts of the browser! Live and learn!
