My creations and weathering

Recently I have been exploring the art of weathering for all the reskins that I have made.

Here is just an example:

As soon as I feel that I have the technique down, all of the skins that I have released will be updated.
Now, just to figure to how to make it look like someone wrote in the dust "Wash Me".....

I would imagine that if you're using Photoshop for your reskin work, you could make your "weathering" layer, then in the original locomotive color, in the case of your Bessemer F7, use the orange and write "wash me" in a large, thick patch of dirt...


Just a thought?

Just my opinion, but the dirt on the top of the cab and nose looks a bit thick. Maybe thin it out just a bit.
