Murchison Problems

I would appreciate any help in installing Murchison in TR2010 - I had installed in my TZ2012 program but as I had all sort of problems with it and the rest of TZ2012 before and after SP1.(build 58414) I decided to devote my gameplay time to TR2010. My TR2010 is at build 49933, latest build? but when I try to install Murchison I am told that my build is out of date and I can get no further! researching Trainz updates I see that there is a patch to raise build 46170->49938 but no patch for 49933->49938 and I think this is what the Murchison installation is looking for? As I seem to spend more time installing, patching and database repairing rather than playing, any help would be appreciated. Old Bill

Install Murchison as a stand alone program in it's own directory. After installing, navigate to the directory you installed it in; i.e. drive:\murchison\buitin, Copy the Murchison.ja file to your desktop. Then navigate to drive:\auran\TS2010\builtin and copy the Murchison.ja file from your desktop to your TS2010 built-in folder.

When you have copied the Murchison.ja file into TS2010 built-in folder, start TS2010 and go to; Options. Important; Enter your Murchison 2 serial number where it says CD Key, then click on Add. Otherwise you won't be able to run M2... (then exit TS2010)...

Next, open the TS2010 CMP and do an extended database repair. You can then uninstall the Murchison stand alone program if you wish too...

You can install the Murchison.ja file into any version/build of TS2010...

Worth looking at for patches/versions; (post 5) http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?104122-TS2012-builds-and-service-packs

Cheers, Mac...

Sorry for the delay in my response but I have had to leave trainz for the last few weeks
Thanks again
