Multiple Triggers

Is there a way you can have numerous triggers for all three priorities for the same channel but operated differently without activating all of them. I.E. there's a siding near a crossing that converges into a single mainline track and you have a trigger on both set near the area where you want your train to stop in case it needs to make way for another train to get through as a basic two trigger setup while for trains that aren't stopping have a four trigger setup for high speed trains. How will that work out but still not interfere with anything else? Does that make sense?

Can you make a diagram, sounds like you could just use a standard 2 or 4 trigger set-up... I'm a little confused on the scenario. Typically if I needed to isolate a trigger, I would make a whole new channel.

Cheers,
Joshua

Are you using Boat's ATLS system? If so, then the answer is yet. You can set any of the triggers for priority 1-3. I have done exactly what you describe for controlling crossings that are near turnouts or stations, or want the crossing to close sooner for faster trains. I always use the four trigger system for 2-way traffic.
