Multiple coloured loco's

Hi I am having a bit of a problem every time I download a steam loco and tender from he DLS , they show up as multiple coloures so do the drivers and fireman, does anybody know what night be wrong and how to fix it . I have tried shane's black/Multicolour Textures issue, but that does not seem to work, has anybody any idea what I can do to solve this problem. Hope somebody can help. Thank you. PS I am running trainz 2009 with the S&C add on with windows 7

Can you provide a screenshot of it? I may have other ideas in addition to my multicolour texture tutorial.

Hi Shane I know this may seem a bit daft, but how do you save a trainz screen saver and put it into the forum. I have never saved a screen before. Strange thing are happening now the loco's and tenders are installing okay but the drivers and fire men are still multi coloured. Hope you can help. Thank you.

That may be a different issue - check which assets are involved with them, and re-install them.

To put a screenshot on the forum, use the Printscreen key which will save a screenshot into <trainz install folder>/userdata/screenshots, which can then be posted here via a photo-sharing site.

Drivers and fireman are usually built in, set your content manager filter for built in = true, locally modified = true. CTRL A to select all, right click, select Edit, select Revert to original. If they're downloaded driver characters check you have your settings the way Shane showed you, then open them for edit and recommit them, or delete and download again.

I don't have a copy of Trainz right in front of me, but I somehow remember in Content Manager in the configuration area there is a setting for using "hardware acceleration". Uncheck this, (or check it if it is unchecked) and see if that helps.
