Monorail fixed junctions and Interlocking towers Setup

HI is it possible to set a path using monorail fixed junctions
I have set two paths Left and Right but they don't set in driver.
Just waiting for activation
With a red signal

Thanks for any help
Matt

Hi Matt

Is this for a player train or an AI train? Which IT are you using, the Auran one or the P Guy one?

I've never used the monorail assets but if they work in the same way as normal track then the ITs should work with them assuming that the track is signalled in the same way as normal track.

Regards

Hi Matt,

To my knowledge there are two versions of the fixed junctions for monorail and another set (fixed perhaps) of one of those uploaded to the DLS a couple of days ago. I have used both sets in TRS19 though they can be a little complicated at times to set up and get the animations working properly. Once they are set up, they work exactly the same way as normal junctions so I would think yes it's possible.

hi thanks using pguys invisible tower and jjeff1955 monorail fixed junctions V2
The junctions work fine without the tower.
They wont move with the J key you have to click on the junction with the mouse they move ok.
But when I make a path on a tower
The path reads junction 0 zero left junction 1 none

And when use the set IT PATH in commands they don't move.
Just says waiting to activate And a red signal

Yea these 2 Monorail Junctions are a Pain in the Posterior for sure.
I am still working on them to get them to function as a normal Track Switch would.

My V2s failed on me again after several Map re loads and they just froze up and would not activates anymore with the Mouse Pointer.
I do not know what is wrong with these things as of yet. I did manage to figure out the .im file and how to move the attachment points and save, then test again and again, trial and error sort of thing.

Had to do that with Maddy's Y Split Road Connector, and finally got it working by move the invisible road connections a bit.

When I get some time I will do the same for the fixed Junctions. The reason that they fail is they are not correctly attached to the invisible Monorail Track correctly and the one Beam Track becomes disconnected and bows upward when it is deleted and undo is performed.

The only way to get them working again is to remove them and re install them again, but they eventually fail in a matter of time.
Sorry for the issues.
Cheers.

Good to here that they are working reliably for you.
I may need to do another Fix on them, but do not worry as they will automatically obsolete the older ones and you will get the newer ones without notice.
Meaning your present ones will update automatically. They will be more stable than the ones that you have now.
Cheers.
