To report a thread, look to the right of the message #. The "!" symbol will do it for you.

I've used that feature a few times.

Comes in very useful for dealing with such threads.

Now all we need is a 'report user' feature, if a user is only making such posts.

Dunno how it works here, but at trainsim we automatically ban any member posting spam. Two step;

Upper right corner of the post you're reporting, click the triangle with the ! in it. That opens up this;

Type in "spam" and hit the Send Report button. BTW, responding to those and especially quoting them only makes the moderator's job harder for bad posts in otherwise good threads, because in addition to having to delete the bad post it's also necessary to delete or edit any post responding to same, especially if the bad post was quoted.
