Trainz All The Way
hello:wave:
i've downloaded some locos and rolling stock but on a few of them, when i load them in trainz, they have no wheels! .Could someone help me?

General questions like this are hard to answer. Post kuid numbers of assets you're having problems with so we can try them.

If he's running 2012 though, then he can't use that option as there is no Compatibility Mode in 2012 - buggy or broken content that doesn't appear has to be fixed manually in CMP, a time consuming task.

If it's something simple as a missing dependency though, load up CMP and check the affected content for 'missing dependencies'. If there are any found, simply download the dependencies and install them, and hopefully then your trains should have wheels now. :)

However, if the content has errors, then I'm afraid that's out of my area of expertise, as when it comes to recoding Config files, I'm a wimp. :o

No wheels = missing or broken dependencies. As Bob stated, you need to post kuid numbers.

If his trains had missing dependencies, they would not show up in-game.

My guess is that the bogeys do not have a mesh table, or the train does not have a bogey table.

Edit: Is this the MSTNoodle Thomas content you asked me about on YouTube?

If so, open the bogeys of the offending trains for edit in Explorer, and see if they have a bogey table. Bogey tables reference which bogeys go where. I can tell you what to put for each train, as my versions work.

For the rest of the stuff, one of the Wayback Internet Archive's links to the old UKBL sites has all the download links intact. That is where I got mine from.

i try the table but trainz will double or triple some bogeys:confused: james is now a 2-2-2-6-6-0:hehe:
Put the 2-wheel bogey in the top section, the 6-wheel bogey in the second section and the invisible bogey in the third section. If that doesn't work, put the invisible bogey in the first section and move the others down.
