Missing loco numbers

I recently cloned a few EMUs and found that the loco numbers are no longer showing up on the cab ends. If I veiw them in PEVs mesh viewer, the area where they should display shows up as a black box as per the original. The only thing I could find on searching for a similar problem is here http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=36671&highlight=missing+numbers but I'm not sure exactly what I'm meant to look for to change.

If anyone can shed a slightly more detailed description, I'd be very grateful.

If you edit using CCP it kills ARN. Is this your problem? What is the kuid number of one of the EMUs so we can try it.

Thanks for the response Bob.

I was advised that it is to do with the build being updated by CMP. I reverted and removed the existing errors and the problem was solved. Reskinning doesn't affect them which is where my issue arose initially.
