Missing kuids of some Wessex _E_L items

A search of the DLS, these forums and Google fails to find.....

the kuid:30051:10007. This is the only missing kuid from the Class 405 '4SUB' DMBS and TSO/TS by wessex_electric_nutter. (The kuids for the 405s are: 30051:3 & 30051:100163).

the kuid:30051:10203. This is the only missing kuid from the Class 416 interior by wessex_electric_nutter. (The kuid for the 416 interior is: 30051:100163.

the kuid:30051:1207. This is the only missing kuid from the Class 465 items by wessex_electric_nutter. (The kuids for the 465s themselves are: 30051:100064, 30051:100051, 30051:100037, 30051:100029 & 30051:100044).

I wonder if anyone knows where they may be got? I have looked at Mr nutter's own websites & server but no joy (as far as I can see - there are CDPs all over :-) ).

Thanks in anticipation,
Lataxe

The 10007 kuid doesn't seem to used, it's not in any config file apart from the kuid table. Try deleting it from the table then use it and see if it looks right.

Lataxe, thank you for pointing out these errors, some of them do escape my computer. Now, the best thing to do with the 405 (crap model BTW, it seriously needs updating) is to right click on the asset, then find edit, then click "open for edit in explorer". Open the Config.txt file and scroll down until you find "KUID-table". From KUID-table to the last brace, delete it. Commit and try it now. That should sort out that error. To be honest, in 2010 compatibility mode, it shouldn't be too much of a problem anyway, because its not actually missing an asset.

Second one is here: http://81.6.245.27/files/EMU/416 passenger interior NSE.cdp

Third one is here: http://81.6.245.27/files/Components/BT13 bogies (new).cdp

HTHs. Beaware that the networker is far from finished, it doesn't have a DMS yet because I didn't get a chance to make one.

A lot of my stuff has that problem, I guess I didn't get used to KUID tables and therefore, keep forgetting to erase the KUID table before uploading my work :O

Mr N,

Thanks for your quick response and for the CDPs.

I have got the 405s to behave now; you're right - they lack those essential items, the seats! And no matter how hard I pull, the doors stay shut. :-)

The 416 interior CDP won't load the luggagerack BMP & TGA files for some reason, so the whole kuid is now faulty with various "can't load luggagerack texture files" messages . Before I find another BMP & TGA file to clone and paste from elsewhere, do you have a fix or suggestion? I am using TS2k10 (to employ your parlance).

Thanks for any further help.

Yoyr grateful user,
Lataxe.

Its Mr Burgess really. (My real surname in life) But you are forgiven.

Ahhh, those went mysteriously missing....? Best idea is to create a new texture file, a white 16x16 saved in either format helps. They have to be uncompressed due to the engine requirements. Its also good that you are giving me this feedback, because it allows me to look at errors I usually ignore and miss. Although, when I built the EPBs, a few errors weren't too much of an issue, whereas now, every single error is a major show stopper.

EDIT: Now I had a look, the textures are indeed missing, I wonder if I have them on this computer? Knowing my luck, no, although I can probably guess where else they maybe and one of them, is in the drawer, awaiting recovery.

And I still can't find the orignal. I found a subsitute which is for a different unit, but the mapping may look a little odd.

Mr B (not N),

Now, my boy - I have a mantra for 'ee: "a place for everything and everything in its place".

When you are a big lad (I mean an ole scrote like moi) you will have acquired a shed (a real one, not the virtual kind you have on your computer). In the shed will be essential mantoys of many ilks and tittles. Ifen you don't obey the above mantra the mantoys will scatter about the shed and soon you will spend 99% time seeking one or t'other and only 1% playing with the item, if it is found at all.

It does apply to virtual sheds in fact, the mantra. I have just received an essential new toy (I mean PC) which requires me to rebuild all its software thangs. I have took all day and still there are bits & pieces to do!

Anyroadup up, I can do that texture thing you mention, in Photoshop. However, it would be so much more satisfying should the arteest that made the original (no doubt gorgeous) luggage rack texture send me a link to the original (found in not-its-place within your vitual shed, cubby 'ole 96834 sub-folder zz7y or thereabouts).

Lataxe, sick of the sight of Windows installation dialogue boxes.

Its a side effect of having too many computers, it could be on any of my large collection of PCs, there are only 2 I suspect though (Despite theres like 30 to go through), one of which is my 20" laptop, the other is the Aspire 3020. Failing that, I need to search the Toshiba M200 tablet, then the eeePC 901.
