Military and Railroads...WW2

Well, I've got a video for you to watch, and then something neat to tell you. First, the vid. This is a preview for a new game (MMO) called Tank Ace. Now you might be wondering how that fits in with Trains and Railroads? Well... watch the vid then I'll tell you.

Neat isn't it? Well here's the deal. I'm a tester for that game, and after some long discussions with the GM's, they're making a pitch to the devs to include Armored Trains and combat centered around them. To quote "I can just imagine having a platoon or more of tanks going up against one of those things as the thing lobs shells at the tanks." After a bit more discussion, they're now hoping to have them player controlled, and the possibility for the user to actually move around in them and on them. So there ya go. Seems pretty dang interesting.

I could see some sort of complete Trainz building and railcar set.

Armored cars, freight cars with gun platforms. But it would also bring an interesting spin to if someone was to add, say, munitions plants, military bases, so on, so on.

I.E., things can go to Munitions Plants. Munitions are loaded into boxcars and taken to Military Bases, or possibly other themed locations?

Perhaps Tank Facilitys. They would certinally need building supplys, possibly munitions, rolling out tanks on flatbeds?

And a set of Military Theme Cars for the hell of it? Hmm. Certinally not a bad idea.

And that game, Tank Ace, doesn't look too bad either.
