UPDATE:

I've just hit the Entrance to the Bensenville Yard, and I'm going to stop there for now. There is no crossing that matches the ones in Franklin Park (2L 6T, 4T). So, I'm sorta in a jam.

You mean a road crossing that crosses the tracks? How many are there? Did you try just adding splines onto the road and lifting them up a tad so just the rails show?

I've tried that, but the cars don't stop there, so it's less realistic.

I'm not sure this will help, but maybe the ATLS system will work for you...worth a look into at least.

Thats cool for triggers and all, but I need gates and lights for the crossing. I'm most likely just going to go with the slight height increase of the road.

Okies. I abandoned this project a long while back...February, I believe. But, I know a lot of you were encouraging me to finish this, so I have decided to continue. I have been thinking about how I'm going to do the beginning of the route, in Chicago. I may just start the route at Western Ave. instead. But, we'll see how it goes.
