Hi:

I see in old version or iPad version, when you want to include a Message, vía Rule, in a Popup message, one of the options was "String" but now in trainz 12 this option does not ppears, only HTML, I'm not familiar with this codificaron and there is not explanation about where and how the Message you want to display should to be included.

Can some one indicate me how to create the message I want to include in the Popup Windows?

While I have a fair bit of experience using HTML to create popup messages during a session, I have no experience at using the string method but I did investigate it before deciding that HTML was the easier way (for me at least). My investigations consisted of looking at the config.txt files of some of the sessions that came installed with Trainz. There may be web based resources, such as the Trainz Wiki, that provide a detailed explanation.

From what I was able to understand the string method involves placing the text to be displayed inside the config.txt file. Its main advantage, as far as I could see, was that you could provide a different set of strings for each language that was recognised by Trainz. For example: the same string messages in English, French, Spanish, etc and Trainz would select the correct language to use according to the language set by the user.

From what I've read, the string way of doing it is obsolete in TS12. There is however a list of valid HTML tags in the Wiki under the Minibrowser reference page.
