Meshes & Train Build #s

I have run across a number of assets that, after checking the errors & warnings, I get this message:

"Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported."

Also,

"Warning: Progressive meshes are no longer supported by Trainz. Though these meshes may work in Trainz, it is recommended that you switch to a LOD mesh."

Is there anyway to change or correct these?

You can sort this one out by running the asset through Pevs 'PM2IM' utility, which you can get from the link in any of shaneturners posts.
