Merging routes

I have searched the posts on this subject but can't find the answer to my particular problem. I have made a second copy of a route I wish to merge and given it a slighly different name as usual. Both routes are north to south heading.I want to merge north to north, or south to south but I can only align north to south or south to north.How do I turn one map so that I get a miiror image.Then I can merge north to north or south to south.

Sorry Bob, I don't think it can be done.This question has been asked before,and the answer has always come back---No!!

PS.I haven't a clue how to link one thread to another,so I will do it the hard way.Go to page 4 of Surveyors,operators and engineers.You will find a thread headed 'Layout merge query' by Macca45.This gives a little more info.
