Merged Route Mystery

I have a bit of a mystery on my hands. After merging two routes, one being 24 boards and the smaller 10 boards, I'm unable to create a junction on the smaller route. I can go into the larger route and create a junction, but once I cross the border into the smaller route, no can do. I can lay track and add on to the end of a track in both routes. I have tried several different types of track with the same results.

Layers? probably ended up with an extra one somewhere.

Thanks Malc, I never thought of that, but that's not it, however, after getting some time back at the computer, I discovered that if I delete and replace the track I'm trying install the junction on, it works. Problem solved, kind of, but it does not explain the loss of that function on the existing track. At least now there is a work around.

Sounds like to me you are merging my hump yard module to a smaller personally created route.......
I named all the layers to prevent multiple duplicate layers.......
In the process, perhaps this has caused your issue and I apologize..... Layers sometimes causes really stupid issues
