Working on the 7000 Series...

It's been a while, Looks great. Your previous works are still over on Trainz Commuter Rail (TCR).

Those aren't mine. I believe they are Gandalf's. I was going to possibly put them to TCR but first I had to make sure I had Jaleel's permission, and then I was worried about the photographic route sign images I "borrowed" from photos. I'm not too concerned about the last part, but I never got things resolved to my satisfaction. At some point my computer crashed and then I got busy with work and other things.

Thanks.
Problem is, because it's a re-skin, I'm limited by quirks with the original model. Every section where there is wide spot for a poster is the same, with some flipped. For the rest of the interior sides, one texture is flipped and used for both sides. I can't tell from the interior photos if they have a full size route map like most metro cars, so I think I will stick with the metro route map as my one interior poster. The MARTA model just left the walls completely white. The texture map looks like it was designed that both walls could be mapped or else one wall and the ceiling, but then they used the same section for each poster wall. Are the route displays centered over the middle windows? I can't tell from these angles. The barriers by the doors are actually part of the texture used for the exterior. I don't think there is any way to make them transparent, and it would be a pain even if it were possible. Also, the barriers in the model are the wrong shape and position.
Also does anyone know if the roof of the 7000 series is ribbed or smooth?

Does anyone know any details about the C and J junction (Yellow and Blue split past King St). Coming into King street station from Van Dorn does J1 cross C2 at grade or is there a flyover (the tracks are underground so I can't tell from satellite images). My diagram makes it look like it is probably a flyover but I can't tell for sure

h9000,

They cross at grade level. Except for the tracks coming in from Eisenhower Av Station(which is the only flyover at that junction), they cross at the same grade level.

By the way, those rails look nice; where'd you get them? Or did you create them yourself?

The rails are a reskin of "3rd rail track top boards only plastic"

So the junction should look something like this? :

Wait hold on. After zooming in on the satellite image of the junction, I've realized that the tracks coming from Eisenhower Ave past the flyover combine into one single track underground. For the track leaving King Street, I'm guessing it has a switch with the southbound Yellow Line track before diverging toward the yard. If you need to see for yourself, go to Google Maps to the junction and zoom in over Duke Street, which runs over part of the junction. Hopefully that should be able to explain what I'm trying to say.
