Marias Pass Route X

Marias Pass Route X (TS 2010/Trainz12) - just completed!

15 minutes ago I have successfully tested the last session for the Marias Pass Route X. This means that the route is completed.

Yipeee!:udrool:

It remains to be done:

  • We are waiting for feedback from beta testers
  • The route and the contents have to be packed in CDP's
  • The installer has to be done
  • The website has to be updated
Then we can release the route. I guess in 2 weeks from now.
I'll start a thread in the next days with more information about the route. After two years of construction, there is much to report. We will also start a screenshot gallery.

Now I am going to drink a few beers. Cheers :D

Dude, just stop...really...:p just release it already...

In all seriousness though, thank you. My credit cards are shaking in my wallet.

(and if you ever make it to my neck of the woods, I'll take you out for some BEER...yeah, I'll treat you to good stuff too, not Coors or Bud...)

Marias Pass Route X Errors

Today after 9days of waiting, Marias Pass Route X; arrived in the mail and installed almost immediately. It took three atempts to run the DVD as it froze halfway through but it finaly installed. Well 150 unknown kuids 41 missing dependencies and there were 6 on DLS which have been downloaded. However what about the 150 which are unknown. Any chance that someone could help. My TS12 is version 3.6 Build No:49922 but Marias Pass is version 4.1. Are the Germans really that far ahead of us.

I bought the digital d/l version a while back, and it came with all the files required, no missing deps, no extra d/ls required. Perhaps try yet again to reinstall?

I hate DVD's for that very reason. Digital download has never failed me, because if something goes wrong you can always download it again. Maybe you can send them an email and download it instead.

This sounds like your installation was defective and did not install all of the missing assets. You should contact HP-Trainz regarding this issue.

With the digital download, I installed the same route without issue.

Hi sedwards,

With a DVD version it often pays to copy all the files on the DVD to your hard drive and then install form there. The reason for this is that the hard drive will complete long file names when the DVD will not. If there are any file names on the DVD that have **** or ???? at the end that means they are too long for the DVD.

Cheers,
Bill69

I have got Marias Pass X for Trainz 12 and it has a lot of faulty dependencies. Can anyone help me?

In CMP, set the search filters to faulty and when all of them pop up, right click and select all. Right click again and revert or revert to original and that should fix it.

???
Since I bought Marias Pass X I have always started out of Shelby, but today I decided to try the other way around, and started out of Whitefish. Guess what, within half an hour my train was wrecked.:( Why? Because the track was missing.
Midway between MP 1210 and MP 1211 several hundred metres of double track is missing.

Anyone else seen this?

Missing track?

Never start your own session with "edit route". Allways start with the basis session (edit session). The "missing" track is in a session layer.

Faulty assets?

Disable your antivirus prog and commit the "faulty" assets. They will be not anymore marked as faulty. Don't forget to enable your antivirus protection again.
