Map Orientation

Is there a way to alter the orientation of a map in Surveyor?

I've been building my own route, but it's been so long since I did so that I completely forgot about the directions. And now it turns out that the part of the route that I've been calling north is actually south. This doesn't affect anything significant for me, but it will of course affect sunrise and sunset, so I'd like to fix it if possible. I have too many sections done to start the route over.

So is there some way to flip the orientation of the map around to fix this minor error on my part?

I'm sorry to say this, but no. The orientation of the boards cannot be changed.

No, there is no way to do this in Trainz. I seem to recall that there might be a way to do this using TransDem (payware) but I don't know the details having never used it.

Live with it upside down, or...

I wouldn't trash the route...but you could re-do it right side up...using the upside down route as a referance tool.

You will be able to re-do your route 1000 times faster than it took originally.

Nah, I won't bother redoing it, especially since part of what's done is a fairly extensive (for me) railyard/coal mine that took me long enough to be satisfied with the first time around. I guess I'll just live with it as-is. Maybe I can redesign some of the other parts that I haven't built yet so it won't bother me as much.

An easier fix might be to reverse the rotation of Earth. (To fix the sunrise/set thing) :hehe:

But, joking aside, I know of no way that hasn't been said before to do this. I would suggest at least checking out that TransDem gfisher was talking about.
