makking your trees realistic on your layout

You might be able to copy/paste a patch of trees, that have all been custom fine rotated individually, and some partially sunk in the ground ... I am not certain about this though.

But then again most of my route looks like this:

And I use Forest1 and Forest_1 textures extensively, and avoid all trees altogether, and I use textures instead, except in key highly detailed scenic locations:

Everyone has their own ideas on which trees look best.

In addition, realism can be helped by how they are laid and presented. Good complimentary landscaping and well chosen ground textures are also important.

Can you post or link to a screenshot of an example of what you would like to achieve? We can then perhaps tell you how it was, or could be, done.
