Making hornsounds

I am in the process of making hornsounds, I know all of the basics, etc. But I heard to make the loop longer you can use Sound recorder and reverse it. I have a program that is capable, but there it gets a bunch of "popping" in the sound. I do not have access to the XP version of Sound Recorder, is there any other programs I can use to reverse the sound?

Thanks,

NCH Software offer a sound editor called 'Wave Pad Sound Editor'. I use it for my hornsounds. You can repeat loops, create starts, and every aspect of the hornsound. They offer a day-limited trial for free, it's limited by day and usable features. However, the 'Repeat Loop' feature and many more essentials are usable.

If you wish, you can purchase the full edition when needed for $60.00 (on sale until December 15) and $80.00 (when sale ends).

To download/purchase:

This is great for editing files so you can have an even loop.

Cheers,
Joshua
