Mac Pro single button mouse on PC

Ok, daft question really, but I've picked up a very cheap 50p mouse.

It's not just any old mouse, it is an Apple Mac Pro mouse which appears to only have one button.

Is there a way I could get Windows to recognise the mouse or any way to configure the mouse to work the same as a two button pc mouse?

There's a possibility that it is a two button mouse, the Mac mouse I am using for this post needs to be pushed on the left or right hand side to register either left or right clicks. However, unhelpfully it looks much the same as the single click mouse.

I suspect if you google the model number you could get the definitive answer.

Be careful, mac mice are not usually compatible with PCs (although the reverse is true). If you can't get the right click to work try ctrl+click.

Mac mice are simply USB mice, they work perfectly with PCs. The Ctrl+Click won't work as it's a software feature of OSX.

Macintosh/trainz2009

Hi guys. New to this train world. I have a train crazy child-12.

I am wondering about something. I have an Imac G5 running Leopard 10.5. Just wondering if the trainz2009 software will run on it. I just ordered it the other day, but now I am not sure if it will work.

Thank you:)

Thank you for the response.

Just a question. Where would I get the necessary items. Can I download them, or do I have to buy them separately.

Thank you again for responding.

My child is very excited to get this. He loves trains.:D

Here is a link to Parallels

Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac

Boot Camp Assisstant is found in the Applications/Utilities folder of the OS 10.5 hard drive. As you are effectively creating a PC on your Mac you will also need a version of Windows XP or Vista to install.

OH NO.

Squirrel, CANCEL YOUR ORDER.

G5 processors CANNOT run Bootcamp or Parallels--only Intel Macs can. G5s, I repeat, CANNOT run Windows unless you're in VirtualPC, which is NOT fast enough to run Trainz.

This is from the voice of experience.

CANCEL the order for Parallels--it won't install.

i am considering getting another mac, not now, but in the future. I realized after the order came that I don't have the intel on the mac it's a g5.

Thank you for all your help.

Installing windows on mac

Help:)

I got a new macbookpro last week, and am having trouble installing windows vista home premium oem software. I was able to partition the drive with bootcamp, but I am not able to install the software.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you:)

New Trainz

My son is very happy to be able to play his game. I got everything running and installed in a week. It took me a while-not too tech savy. In fact he got in trouble last night because he would not get off the computer. He really loves trains. I may have to get on and check it out myself.

Thank you for all your help.:D

Trainz 2009

Very happy child. I was able to install all the necessary software. He's been playing a lot. He got in trouble a few weeks ago because he would not get off when he was told to,

I have yet to play with it. I may on of these days. It looks neat.:)
