Lucky Shots

We've all had those lucky shots. A lightning bolt, two 150 mph Acela trains passing on the NEC, etc. Well, this is a thread dedicated to the luck of the Pause button.

So I was driving a train on the SnC Carlisle Skipton route, and it was set in a storm, 7:00 AM. Then, about 4 minutes out of Carlisle, I pause the game to look at the clouds, and I catch a lightning bolt on a field just opposite the tracks. The train consist: A BR Class 9F Double Chimney, a Carmine Mk1 BG, 3 Carmine Mk1 CKs, a Carmine Mk1 RMB, and a Carmine Mk1 restaurant car (forgot the designation). Proving that lightning bolts in Trainz aren't just quick 2D overlays. By the way, this image was taken of my PC monitor in pause, by my phone, so quality might be low, but better ones will come later, that were actually taken ingame.

Curious how did you catch a lightning bolt, as is so difficult to do that on Trainz

Alright, time for proper screenshots... Caught 5 lightning bolts within 6 minutes of the first one.

Not all of the lightning catches, but these are my favorites of the group.

Yes, I realize it's been a year and a half since the last post in this thread. But, here is a screenshot I got on Sherman Hill last weekend, in TS12.

Set around 1997. Two brand new UP SD70Ms are leading an intermodal train eastbound, while an AC6000, C40-8, and patched SD40T-2 lead a westbound manifest, an eastbound local heads for the yard, and the westbound Pioneer heads for the cutoff. 4 trains all meeting right next to each other.

Yes, I realize that UP didn't receive its own SD70Ms until 2000, but some of the cars on the manifest probably didn't exist in 1997 either, but it doesn't really matter. If I'd thought about it, I'd have put C40-8Ws on the intermodal instead.
