Thoughts?
Either way I'm loading up TRS 2012 later today to see what happens. Heck, may do it now
SUCCESS!! While the performance isnt perfect and certainly some hangups I am finally able to play TRZ 12! I bought the game in December so its been a long wait. And since it didn't cost me anything I'm very happy with the chance to play. I spent the weekend playing and just trying to figure out how to get started. Found Shane Turner's posts and website so was able to fine tune some things which helped a bit. Installed the patches.
In the end this laptop holds up pretty well. Only time I have issues, I think, is with Steam trains and also weather like rain where it lags. not to the point of being unplayable tho. It seems these require a bit more resources than, say, the acela train running on a normal day, in which i've experienced zero issues.
So, thanks so much for your help and support . I am still planning to purchase or build a high end gaming PC down the road. Now off to figure this game out!
