It looks like we have lost all the posts after September 6th? Is it possible to get them back or did the forum trouble blow them away?

I think Superman spun the world backward in time ... now we get to do it all over again ... Whoooo Hooooo ... Groundhog Day all over again !
Good thing I wrote down all the old lottery ticket numbers !

And all those who got banned, get reinstated ... as they never posted ... what they posted.

It is nice to know that our forum lookers-afterers are on the ball. Better to have lost posts than a lost forum. Thanks, guys.

I've just posted in the competitions forum about my entry and a comment after it gone missing on the 6th even the green arrow to show a post is missing.

Thank you for taking care of this. The missing forum posts are the least of our worries. I'm glad the tech team got stuff up and running.

I wonder if this accounts for the sudden high level of spam I got for the last 2 days? During that time I had in-excess of 40+ spams on several occasions over a very short period before my isp clamped it out. Fortunately its back to low level this morning.

The NSA will have a copy of the missing stuff.

A recent Dilbert cartoon featured a system crash at his office and our hero downloaded the backup from NSA. Guys in dark glasses and suits turned up to arrest him but he outwitted them and fled to the Elbonian embassy. Art reflecting real life?

I saw that one and had a good laugh at it. I've always liked this series. These cartoons sure do reflect real life.

The boss looked just like a former director where I worked. He wouldn't let us post Dilbert cartoons on our bulletin board. I wonder why!
Another good one was a hit at the big software companies and their so-called upgrades. This series went on for a few days, if I recall. In the end they tweaked the interface, introduced a few bugs, and called it a new version. :)
