Lost HUD

Hi all. I down loaded a HUD a few weeks ago. It was working great until 2 days ago, then suddenly disappeared. I have done a EDR but it is still missing. According to content manager it is still on my computer. Is there a way to get it back. I find it very useful to find problems on the route I'm building. Any suggestions please. Thanks Keith.

.fran1, I'm using pguy's HUD, which you recommended on Christmas day, (I think). F5 or F8 makes no changes. Thanks for your swift reply. Keith

Check in the session layer that it is still there.
You could also try deleting and re download. Then add it to the route/session.

I thought it was me but I see Im not the only one having problem with the HUD. Although it is there on the list to select in surveyor, clicking on it and then 'ok' does not add mc Display HUD or mc Display HUD v2 to the list of commands. Ive tried both HUDs and get same result with both.

MC Display HUD and MC Display HUD v2 are rules that are added in Surveyor and show up as an information panel in the top right hand corner of the screen in Driver only. You will not find either in the list of commands after the rule has been selected.

As fran1 says it can be turned off and on by pressing F8 (F5 clears all the panels around the screen).

When you add the rule check that it is enabled by clicking edit after you have selected it and ensure that the show panel box is ticked (this is the default setting).

Ok let me correct something. After selecting the rule and clicking ok it does not show up in the list of rules to turn on or off.. It does not appear in the list of rules and hence does not appear in driver.

This works in earlier versions

.
In Surveyor go to:

Edit Session Rules>Add>
select Display Custom HUD>Edit>Show the Custom Heads Up Display - make sure green button is switched to show, not hide.

I've just highlighted the rule then selected add and it shows in the list. You then have to select it in the list and then select edit to have it show or hide it.
