Looking for someone to make...

My content creation skills just are not there yet. I was wondering if someone would be willing to make...
1. Crown Avenue Tunnel- this is a 4,750 foot tunnel.
2. Power Poles- these would have to be fairly detail due that they run most of the right of way.
Have pictures of both.

There are 4 Tunnels 1-1 Voie to 4-1 Vioe by Fred24. Two of them that look similar.

Might I suggest that a creator not model the angled wingwalls attached to the tunnel portal, but instead create the wingwalls as a positionable second asset, so others can use the tunnel portal in multiples, side by side.

There are many tunnels in Pa that are not on DLS and are desperately needed.

The ones mentioned at the DL station are too brightly colored. I'm thinking about just making the front of the tunnel to cover the old tunnel face.

You can alter and darken the color of the Tga or Bmp using Gimp, Irfanview MS Paint etc...
There is a non-tunnel scenery "Portal" on DLS that can be re-colored too.

That would work if I planned on never sending it to the DL Station. If I did that I would have to upload the tunnel again. You know what it's like to upload somebody elses work? No thanks, I'll look for something new.

This usually has worked for me, most often than not, but take a chance and contact the creator and ask him/her to alter there creation to fix your needs ...

Through the years I have asked and people have ask of me, etc ... and it has worked out on both ends:wave:

You never know!! LOL

PS. if no one bits, I can make a cover so you can place in front of whatever tunnel, however, you must provide the texture, etc so I can get a picture in my head!! If you go this route, PM instead of posting, since I don't really check posts, etc often!!

Thanks Ish, If I'm just making just a tunnel cover, I can do that myself with little or no problem. The poles are a different story. I've never built a spline as of yet. I can't learn them now because I'm working on some interactive stations and flagstops which will take me a while to master!

Okie dokie ...

Yeah, not really into making poles, etc ... still, try my suggestion and contact the creator ... you never know.:)

A couple of weeks ago I contacted a creator about his streetlights, and he did me that favor and alter that item to my liking, etc ... He did that in a day and uploaded the next.... like I said, you never know, LOL

My offer is still on the table, etc if you ever that done, ok:wave:

I've re-activated this thread...
Looking for someone to make the Crown Ave Tunnel. Back when posting here the first time, there was somebody willing to make it. They started the project and showed me pictures of the model. Then they were never heard from again...I don't know the name of this person but if you are still out there, PM me.

If there is anybody else out there that would like to take a crack at making this tunnel, PM me and I'll send the tunnel info to you.

While I'll have to admit it. These powerline have little to nothing to do with the Crown Avenue Tunnel. The requested powerline are needed in Trainz. Personally, I'd like to see the big wooden ones too. I may try to make them sometime down the road.
