Looking for Monorail for Trainz 2006

Install SP1 for TRS2006 if you haven't already.

Then:

• Run TRS2006.
• Select the Manage Content option, which invokes CMP.
• In the CMP menu, File > Import CDP's.
• Navigate to the C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006\Docs\manuals_cd\extras\Monorail folder.
• The official instructions say to select all nine CDP files in this folder and then click the "Open" button. As this may confuse CMP, it is preferable to process each of the files separately, one at a time. If after installing these files some missing dependencies are reported, then commit all the assets which are currently open for edit. There is no need to download any dependencies from DLS or elsewhere.
• After installation, the Surveyor and Driver menus should show a layout called "Monorail Demo 2" with a Driver session of the same name.

It's more than a demo. Yes there's the demo layout and demo session but you also get all the monorail track and rolling stock assets which you can include on your own layouts.

And it's included in SP1?

SP1 = Service Pack 1.

However, it all depends on which version of Trainz you have: TRS2004, TRS2006, Trainz Classics, TS2009 or one of the earlier versions.

or you could make your way down to the extras folder with Explorer and see if it's there.
