Looking for cable barrier

I could spend hours looking for you but ill let you find it.
There trz sites all over the world get out there and go exploring.
Your going to need a translator (IM TRANSLATOR) is what I use.
I will look at my inventory of barriers.

I don't expect anyone to do the search for me but after I posted I began to think that if it exists, it can be found in a language other than English, but then which one? Thanks for your suggestion of an online translator - I'll give it a try.

I checked my stuff ..no joy. yet!
I checked a couple of EU sites no joy yet.
I must have 30 different road and highway guardrails.

I found this one by George Fisher, which is a 3-cable roadside barrier spline. Unfortunately, it has wooden rather than metal posts, so it's not exactly modern highway standard. <kuid:106916:10200>.

As I posted in the other thread started by xcrossi, I'll make an attempt at a modern one. May take a while, I find even the simple things are not simple, especially splines.

Yea. I had George Fisher's cable barrier but the username fooled me.
Now mine reads Barrier_Cable Wood Post 02 instead of Barrier Wood.

Refer to this thread for details and pictures of the cable barrier I made and am posting on the DLS shortly.

Thanks Dinorius_Redundicus - I found your new cable barrier on the DLS and it's just what I needed - already placed it on a stretch of divided highway. I'm sure others will find it useful. (PS- the link in your post doesn't work when I clicked it).

Another use of cable barrier is between a 2 lane road and a parallel railway track where the track and road are very close to each other.

Thanks also to the other forum users who responded to this thread.

Sorry about the dud link, fixed now I think.

I'm glad you got the asset anyway. It's amazing how such flimsy looking fences can restrain even large trucks moving at high speed. And they are much cheaper than the "guardrail" type of barrier apparently. I always learn a lot when hunting around websites about the objects being modelled.
