Looking for an AEM-7 Cab (Interior)

Good morning everyone,

I would like to ask whether someone could build an AEM-7 interior? I'm currently working on the whole NEC, and it will be finished soon (+available for download). My only problem is: It is boring to drive all the way from Boston to Washington in an AEM-7 which has the ugly default cab! So please, could anyone build a cab/Interior for VBG's or Connyxy's AEM's? I would do it, but i really don't have the time :/

It would be very nice if someone could rebuild the original AEM-7 cab

Felix, custom cabs take a long time to build and are very costly if you were to commission it. And that's even harder, trying to find someone who will do it.

Oh that's fine but I am just saying this before anyone else does as this will more than likely be your answer. Jointed Rail estimated in about the 1K range for just one cab.

Just wait, I hope I'm not cursing the subject ( lol ) but I'm willing to bet money that ATSF854 will release his AEM-7. I thought he said he was going to build a custom cab with it.

Once you do one to the caliber that we do our cabs, you'll understand the figure better based on the time commitment. Just saying.....before we get flamed for being such a huge figure.

Yeah, i understand JR, but i don't need a cab in their quality, but not interesting, i'm working on my own cab now and exported it to gmax yesterday, will be finished in the next few weeks (more pics soon)

I do have some very VERY detailed diagrams for the cab. The loco itself is done meshwise, but its gathering dust in my "non-mapped" folder.

Ok, it isn't important whether i use the default cab or a 'real' cab, forget this thread. I stopped using VBG's AEM-7, I only use the HHP-8 with the Acela Cab now, thats more realistic

I will be working on a new AEM-7 and Acela set sometime in the future so give it some time. I can make a new cab though in a week for it, texture it by the end of another week, and get it into trainz in a month.

But first I have lots of other things I have to be working for Pacific Trainz USA and I have alot needed to be done. I will get to it. I already have an AEM-7 modeled and I will just need to do a cab for it and you will have a new AEM-7. SO just give it some time. I have to finish the long awaited SURFLINER !

@ATSF and funforme3: No rush, I'm the last person who wants a cab or a complete locomotive from someone Do your other great projects and always have fun, but don't do things you don't want to do You don't have to do that, and it is not important. I don't know how other people think about that, but I don't need another AEM-7
