High Speed Trainz
Hi all,
Although still only a work-in-progress and not up to the standard of some of the excellent screenshots in this forum, here are some shots from London St. Pancras International, which I'm currently messing around with after finishing my previous two layouts (London Euston and Cambridge). Hopefully it is good enough for those who know the station to be able to recognise it. My intention is to possibly release the station as a 2/3-board layout only, which people can expand or merge as they wish. No time scale for completion yet.
The old trainshed, now home to Eurostar trains. (Yes, I know the Eurostar is a re-skinned TGV).
When passengers arrive, they have to disappear down into the old undercroft to go through customs and arrivals, hence the escalators and the barriers to stop non-passengers from getting onto the platforms.
This is the public-side of the undercroft, with shops and bars, etc.
Looking up the trainshed.
