Loco's with no trucks and Industry issues

I believe 'trucks' is the term used for the wheels on loco's.

Anywho, I was checking out the content in TRS2009 and the three L SD70 loco's have no trucks, I can't use them. How do you fix this?

Also, another issue I discovered is with the Barley Elevator, Beverage Shop, and Bockbeer Brewery you can't edit the Properites of these industries to set the production and consumption rates any more. Was this done on purpose for TRS09 or was this an oversight?

Thanks

I hate when that happens...

 Hello X, welcome to the Auran Forum Community...

I had the truck problem(the Global name is bogeys).

It may be related to settings, or lack of available memory, usually I can exit & reload the game & that fixes the problem.

Sometimes I find too many AI Driver commands can cause this.

Ah that's right, there called bogeys...I knew that but forgot..thanks for correcting me.

Yeah I've exited the game and restarted it many times and still no bogeys on those loco's. The person above me seems to have the same issue. Kinda sux when there pretty much the only modern US loco's in the game.

Then on top of that there are those three industries that no longer work as they once did. I played for an hour traveling accross my map with my train, got to the barley elevator to load my hoppers and nothing happened. I thought mybe it was a glitch due to it being a map I converted over from TRS06 so I went into Surveyor with a brand new map, placed those three industries and still couldn't edit the Properties. So now we currently have three less industries in the game that work. I don't know if there are any others. I tried sorting the buildings by Industry to check on more but you can't sort by type anymore either.

I just went into surveyor and dropped each one of Phil's SD70s onto a track, the Conrail had bogeys under it, the other 2 didn't.

After further investigation, the Conrail unit uses one type of bogeys(<kuid:86105:50087>) and the other two use another(<kuid:86105:50089>).

Have you tried looking at the config file for the loco to find out what which trucks are used? The bogeys could have something faulty with them and therefore won't load properly.

It maybe a simple config file fix that is all tha is needed with the bogeys to make them load properly.

Hello

Maybe the bogeys need to be upgraded to TS2009 standard's in order to appear in surveyor.

My advice is contact Phil_C.

Ahsan:)
