: Locomotive water capacity

Hello to all. I have a couple of questions pertaining to steam operation.

• Where would one find the tutorials pertaining to steam locomotive operation?

I did some searching but had no luck. Auran lists tutorials but can not locate them either.

I am working in 2010 SP3.

• I have a shay locomotive (36 cold river shay 2) that is working at a forestry which supplies logs to a saw mill about three miles away. The problem is there is only 25% water available which is not enough the keep the steam up to get to the mill.

It would be nice to have about 75% to 100% of water available
.In the Properties box the maximum load only goes to 3000, which gives only 25% of water, regardless of what I change in the config file.

Any suggestions pertaining to this situation will be greatly appreciated.

PS I choose to list this in the General Trainz rather then in the TS2010 so it would cover more interest.

If that function is present, you add water by pressing the i key to turn the injectors on and press o to turn it off.

Re locomotive steam

Bob thanks for your answer. The i and o works just fine. Was able to increase the water level.
