Locomotive passing signals/trackmarks/speed limits

Hi, i have a locomotive that everytime i put it to run automatically, it does not stop at trackmarks or signals or change speed limit, it passes these "landmarks", and applies the changes or stops further...what is causing this problem? Is it the enginespec or what else could be? All other locomotives are working fine, only this one makes me problems... :o

It does sound as if the max-decel figure in the enginespec is set too low although to help you properly we need to know what the locomotive is and its kuid number.

The locomotive is a payware one from here.

http://www.trainzro.com/

It's the 41-0105 CoCo . The strange thing is that the other, the 43-0096 BoBo has basically the same enginespec but it works just fine.
Now i am trying to test something, added two new lines in the enginespec

autopilot-stop-distance 8
autopilot-crawl-distance 35

but i am not figuring out where should i place these lines :)

Speed signs take effect after the last car pass's (in some decreasing speed rate cases) and must be posted well in advance, so as to allow trains to slow down. On a steep downhill, a train can stop, but actually keep sliding on through a red signal (due to phyisics and train weight). Why a train (or only one specific lone loco) would ignore a stop at a named trackmark (Drive To Trackmark) ... IDK

PS:

I downloaded your fine tracks Sine CFR v2.0

Some other persons are telling me that they can not download your tracks.

I too get the message: "The download is not available on this server".

Is Sine CFR v2.0 available for download ?

Hi

Is the loco built to run in 2004 or 2006? If it was built for one of the these versions of trainz then the max-accel and max-decel figures in the engine spec are likely to be set too low. As a general rule of thumb it was advised to multiply them by about 4.5 to get the correct performance in later versions of trainz. If that is not the case then you can adjust the max-decel figure to see if that affects the performance but make a note of the original settings in case you need to restore them. Getting the correct figure is just trial and error I'm afraid.

This might be it. I will try. The locomotive has been built towork in 2009 & 2010 but probably the engine spec is built according to the rules of 2006...

Yeap i know that...the problem is not when accelerating, the problem is when brakeing, usually all the locomotives do not pass speed limits...for example driving with 70km/h over a 50km/h limit. But this locomoive does, it breaks to the speed limit long after it has passed it.
