LOCKING ON

Guys,

All of my tunnels from the DLS automatically lock on to angles of 45 degrees and if the track leading into them is at 30 degrees I end up with an impossibly tight turn, is there anything I can do about this??? I'm running TS-12 version 61388.

I would also like to ask about merging routes - I have been working on a route that comes in 8 parts, I have been adding towns, roads, crossings etc but when I come to merging them I find that the section that is being merged ends up loosing all the extra work I've done and very often it eliminates any track updates as well, about 3 months ago I read that there was going to be an SP1 soon but haven't noticed anything yet....any update????

Thanks

Due to the was TRS handles tunnels; the standard "quick-lay" tunnels which you can place will always snap to 45 degrees, and will always require them to be centered on a grid corner (so if it's a single track tunnel, the track will be there on the corner). There is really no way around this using that tunnel system. However there is an alternative system, which uses regular track made to look like tunnels & a selection of trackside or regular objects. These allow much more flexibly in laying them, but have other disadvantages. This type will not automatically dig a hole in the ground to allow the trains thru, you will have to use a 'dig hole' object (I think one by andi06 is built in) to remove the ground. It can also be a bit more challenging to cover over the holes made to allow the track thru, as you're still restricted to digging 10m x 10m holes (one yellow (or blue) grid square).
