You'll find more on this extraordinary map series here: http://maps.nls.uk/os/25k-gb-1937-61/info1.html. Its online availability has been discovered by Trainz route builders looking for resources on railway history. Since the map can be accessed via the map tiles de-facto standard, courtesy of the National Library of Scotland, clippings can easily be acquired by mapping tools.

I am working on the Llangollen railway and have completed the line as far as Corwen. I have concentrated so far on getting the line and basic infrastructure down using assets from the DLS. It is set in the sixties era so I have laid double track into Llangollen station. I don't know if this is correct a I am working purely from internet research. I would love to provide some screenshots but I have found it very difficult to understand the procedure, despite looking at the link provided which I think is now slight out of date. I am taking a short break from it at the moment while I work on my other route, Nene Valley(west), but I will continue at some stage.

Alright guys, I know it's been a few months, I'm sorry it took so long. I haven't worked on the map in months. I've been having a lot of school work and not a lot of free time. I will definetly get back to it over the summer, I promise.
