I need some help.
I downloaded the LIRR M7 from trainz commuter rail website but it doesnt work. It comes up with some stack dump error, Can someone tell me how to fix this? Or can someone fix the config for me?

But it said it right there LIRR M7 :"Compatible Games:Trainz 2004 (with errors) Trainz 2006 SP1(with Errors),Trainz Classics."

Yeah i know but is there a way to fix that?
Its a really nice train and its the only M7 out there,I believe its a config problem

If anyone who is good with finding problems you can download it at trainz commuter rail, if you do fix it or anything please tell me i really like this train and id like to use it

I have trainz 2006 sp1. I think I may be able to help. Try putting all the separate files in the cmp and let it do its thing. Edit in explorer and try changing the build number in the config file to the trainz version you are using. Save it and then commit. Before you do any of this, make sure you have all the required dependencies because that is also another problem. If these 2 choices do not work, then you have to do something in the config to fix the problem. Sometimes a train may not work because it is not compatible with the game, error in the config, or error in the texture file. If it works, then there will be some sort of error in 2006 such as a fatal error and it may come up as faulty in the cmp. But if you know how to fix a faulty item, then you are all good to go.

I downloaded the LIRR M7 and unzipped it into a temp folder as 4 traincars and a bogey. Started TS2010 and imported the 5 folders into CM3.3. Each traincar folder showed the same missing dependency, Pseudo RDC cab,<kuid2:37096:1088:1>. Downloaded the cab and it shows these faults:

Error: Unable to load mesh file: 'wheelslip.pm'
Error: Unable to load mesh file: 'fault_light0.pm'
Error: Unable to load mesh file: 'fault_light1.pm'
Error: Unable to load mesh file: 'brake_light0.pm'

Opened the kuid for Edit in Explorer and found none of the above mesh files. Deleted the following:

wheelslip_light
{
kind "light"
mesh "wheelslip.pm"
att "none"
}

fault_light0
{
kind "light"
mesh "fault_light0.pm"
att "none"
}

fault_light1
{
kind "light"
mesh "fault_light1.pm"
att "none"
}

air_brake
{
kind "light"
mesh "brake_light0.pm"
att "none"
}

saved and commit. Tested the M7 in CAB and DCC mode, run ok.
