As said by the name, mostly steam locos.
--EDIT-- Also Sirgibby's trainzone has some freeware, though I think that they are all Narrow gauge or Broad gauge.

Check out the Great American Underground Railway Company for Trainz add-ons like software, content, routes, tutorials and more. Of course, we also have a page of links to other highly-respected Trainz-related sites.
The site is also a great place to find things of interest to anyone who loves prototype railroading as well... We have a HUGE prototype video collection like no-other, a collection of interior cab photos and way, WAY more!
