The repetative trolley shots in the second video of the same two doing the same thing in the same scene got annoying but most of the video is pretty good.
The bicycle rider in both definitely took some craftsmanship!

Certainly a excellent bit of work. I don't agree with the suggestion in the link that it is the Faller road system since in that the motor is in the vehicle. Looking at a stop frame one can see that the bicycle and rider are a rigid structure with small rectangles at the base of the wheels. These seem to be the tops of guides which run in a slot which is just visible. The animated legs are attached to a transparent disk which touches the slot. I surmise that under the roadway is a track with a motorised trolley to which the wheels are attached and the disk is driven by friction from a roller underneath. Does anybody know better?
